History

Okay, let’s talk more about ChatX’s history.

Mid 1998, ChatX was founded by Area51 with drosdow. It grew from few to hundreds of regulars chatting from different countries and cultures. WolfGang also contributed to the community bringing most of Davao, Philippines chatters in and was branded as Davao’s Official IRC Network or sort-of at least..

After 10 long years, it went through ups and downs, lost some users due to attacks and staff was kind of grew tired of it and finally brought it down. In 2011, LivingSouL together with napster, brought it up again with few users in. Hopefully it would grow again with hundreds of users.
